Portrait Painting Wednesdays 10am - 1pm Paddock Studios
4th Jan - 14th march (10 sessions). No Class on 15th Feb. Term fee £150 (includes all model fees)
A structured approach looking at a range of oil painting techniques as well as focusing on drawing skills. We work mostly from the model but also look at making portraits from drawings and photos.

This term we will be working on life and portrait paintings and an individual composition project for the last four weeks of term
Life Drawing and Painting Paddock Studios Fridays 10 am - 1 pm Spring Term 6th Jan - 16th March (10 sessions). No class on 17th feb fee £130.
There are a mix of shorter poses for drawing and sessions in which a single pose is repeated over two or three weeks. There is an emphasis on developing good observational skills and exploring qualities of line tone and colour

Studentscan work in any medium. We will look at developing observational skills, appoaches to structuring paintings ,composition and experimentation. During the spring term the focus will be on people as a subject and we will work on portraits life painting and an individual composition project
